Paul Theakston a member of the famous brewing family started his own brewery in 1992 and has gone from strength to strength. The brewery abuts the old family brewery in Masham that is now owned by ScotCourage. A pleasing brew with good fruit, malt and hop characters.

A single varietal hop beer. A good session ale with its golden colour and light, clean, quality tastes. An inviting hoppy aroma giving way to a good dry finish.

A fantastic pale gold beer with hints of Lemongrass and coriander.

This fully fermented strong ale has been brewed by J.W. Lees as a celebration of the brewers art since 1985. Harvest Ale can be enjoyed now or laid down like a vintage wine for enjoyment in years to come.

Dark, refreshing beer with a distinct chocolate malt finish. A full malty flavoured beer with a strong fruity hop aftertaste.

Encapsulating the flavour of a beer William Worthington himself would have struggled to tame, at the White Shield Brewery we believe 'feisty' also describes the personality and essence of White Shield. This beer is big on flavour and has the mantle piece of awards to prove it! Clean fruit aroma, braced by nuttiness in the flavour.
