Brewdog Tokyo is a limited run beer. Only 3000 Brewdog Tokyo bottles have been released, 2000 of which have been shipped over to Europe. So only 1000 remain in the UK!

Inspired by a 1980's space invaders arcade game played in Japan's capital, Tokyo is already a legendary beer that has recently received a lot of press. Both good and bad. Beer enthusiasts all over the world have been praising the technical marvel and desperately wanting to bag a bottle of this limited run batch! On the other end of the scale, Scottish health ministers have been slating the beer for being irresponsible especially at a time when Scotland is facing unprecedented levels of alcohol-related health and social harm. Apparently producing an 18.2% beer is completely deluded and will not help solve Scotland's alcohol problems! One 33cl bottle of Brewdog Tokyo contains more alcohol units than a bottle of wine!

Tasting notes:
This imperial stout is brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries. After fermentation Brewdog then dry-hop this killer stout with a bucketload of their favourite hops before carefully ageing the beer on French toasted oak chips.

Malts: Marris Otter, Dark Crystal, Caramalt, Chocolate Malt, Roast Barley
Hops: Galena
Twist: Brewed with Jasmine and Cranberries. Dry-Hopped then aged on oak chips.

It is all about moderation. Everything in moderation, including moderation itself. What logically follows is that you must, from time, have excess. Brewdog Tokyo is for those times.
