This is the famous Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, the award-wining rendition of the Imperial Stout style, once made exclusively for Catherine the Great. Brooklyn Brewers use three mashes to brew each batch of this beer, achieving a luscious deep dark chocolate flavour through a blend of specially roasted malts. Brewed every year for the winter season, Black Chocolate Stout is delicious when newly bottled, but also ages beautifully for years.

Colour: Black colour, with just a hint of reddish brown around the edges and a rustically brown foam.
Tasting: The aroma is rich but fresh - no overwhelming sweetness or roastiness that stouts sometimes possess. Instead, well balanced malt, cocoa and some bready notes fill out the nose, with just a hint of brown sugar and coffee aromas.
Food Pairing: excellent with chocolate dessert, cheesecake, fruit tarts and ice cream. Also great with strong cheeses.

First brewed as a holiday specialty, Brooklyn Brown Ale is one of the most popular Brooklyn beers year-round. It is full-flavoured but retains a smoothness and easy drinkability that has made it one of the most popular dark beer in the Northeast.
Brooklyn Brown Ale combines the best of Northern and Southern English brown ales (the first tend to be strong and dry, while the second are milder ad sweeter) and then adds an american accent with a firm hop character and roasty palate.

Colour: a blend of 6 malts (some of then roasted), give the Brooklyn Brown Ale its deep russet-brown color
Tasting: complex mal flavour, fruity, smooth and rich, with a caramel, chocolate and coffee background. Generous late hopping brings forward a nice hop aroma to complete the picture.
