Jever beer is a world classic extra dry pilsener from the Freisland area of north Germany, only a small brewer, but producing a great beer not for the faint hearted! Very bitter hop flavour as indicated on the label herb. One of the most hoppy, bitter beers in the world with 44 units of bitterness.Tasting: The aroma is resiny hops and booming malt leading to a beer with a typical pure white head and just the right amount of carbonation. The taste is of grassy, resiny hops held up well by a very supportive malt base. Citrus zest and a note of sweetness are underlying. Jever is bouncingly fresh, but dry from the high hop rate though still with plenty of mouth feel.
