Germany’s No1 swing top bottle. From the most northerly city in Germany, this is a world classic, dry pilsner.

A world classic extra dry pilsener from the Freisland area of north Germany, only a small brewer, but producing a great beer not for the faint hearted! Very bitter hop flavour as indicated on the label – “herb”. One of the most hoppy, bitter beers in the world with 44 units of bitterness.

A pearl of nature": Soft mountainous spring water, select raw materials and a well-guarded brewing recipe make Krombacher Pilsner a unique experience in taste. Brewed according to German beer purity regulations.

Schlenkerla is slang for gammy leg. The original owner had a twisted walk. He’s on the label ! Rauch means smoke. The beer's smokey palate and aroma is acheived by kilning the barley malt over burning beechwood logs. This is a tradition carried on only in the Bamberg area in Franconia and is similar to an Islay whisky in palate. Rauchbier, the region of Franconia, and more especially the area around Bamberg has traditionally persisted in malting barley over fire, usually made with fuel from the local beech woods. An eccentric style has developed but is a lager style beer from one of the oldest brewing towns.

St georgenbrau brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then left it mature unbunged in deeps vaults.

From the small Franconian village of Buttenheim, sightly south of Bamberg. The St. Georgen Brewery has been in the same family since 1624. Its Kellerbier is aged in sturdy unbunged oak casks in rock caverns right outside the village, the way it was always done in the old days, before the invention of refrigeration.

Regarded as one of the finest examples of a German Pilsner.Veltins is Brewed in Sauerland, near Dortmund to the German Purity Law of 1516.Using natural spring water from its own mountain.Veltins has a superb delicate dry and clean palate with a fine carbonated body that gives a slight bitterness with a light citrus finish.
