Nessie is brewed with scottish Highland whisky malt and matures for 6 months before bottling. The speciality has a pleasant, smoky aftertaste and has been described as the "Whisky among the beers". Brewed by Eggenberger in the lake country close at Vorchdorf.

Colour: clear shining amber.

Taste: dry malty start, pleasant body with slight hoppiness smoky finish and lasting aftertaste.
