Robinsons Old Tom with chocolate Strong Ale. Old Tom with chocolate is a sensuously rich warming combination of Robinsons award winning Old Tom Ale and the finest english cocoa. It is a superior, full-bodied strong ale filled with the flavour of ripe malt and velvety smooth chocolate teased together with an inspired touch of Madagascan Bourbon vanilla.

Old Tom is recognised as one of the most famous strong ales brewed in England, and the addition of this original recipe developed by Robinsons with the renowned chocolatier Simon Dunn makes for a deliciously indulgent winter treat. Contains malted barley.

Robinsons Old Tom is a deliciously complex award winning “old ale” - dark, rich, flavours - ideal as a winter warmer.

Nose : Mellow, chocolaty malt. Soft vinous notes. Subdued fruits (hints of green banana). Light Liquorice.
Palate : Dark, chocolaty malt sweetness immediately countered by a liquorice.aniseed-like hoppiness. Complex estery fruit notes swirl in the background: red berries, pear, a little sharp citrus. A port-wine note emerges.
Finish : Warming and dry, with hops building to provide firm bitterness while malt and chocolate remain. Vinous notes linger.
