Schlosser Alt is the biggest alt bier brewery within Dusseldorf, founded in 1873 and the name derives from the word for Lock.

Tasting: Schlosser Alt is a fine, copper coloured subtle nutty with a pleasant malt finish. Light in body and taste, it becomes nuttier and drier in the finish.

Food Pairings: German Cuisine, Earthy Cheese, Smoked Meat, Game, Grilled Meat.
