Tsingtao Lager is the only Chinese beer known widely outside its home country. It now has around 20 breweries around China, but originally was from the coastal town now known as Qingdao - or green island. It was a German port and the Germans established the brewery in the 1900s and the beer has notably more hop bitterness than most golden lagers from China. Tsingtao Lager is brewed with the finest all-natural ingredients including domestically-grown hops, high quality barley and spring water from China's Laoshan mountain region.

Tasting: Tsingtao Lager has a crisp, slightly malty flavor and nutty sweet taste which complements spicy or flavorful Asian cuisine.
